Cooling Kit for Icom IC781 Transceiver

After the highly successful cooling kit for the Icom R-9000, we have produced a cooling kit for the 781 transceiver. The power supply runs very hot. While the power amp has an internal cooling fan, there is no forced air cooling of the power supply. We replace the internal shield and outer wrap-around rear panel with new hardware which includes an external cooling fan. External metal rear cover is painted and screened to match the original. Soldering of two wires for the fan is all that is required to install the upgrade. | |
